READING GROUPS

I am a big fan of reading groups. About five years ago, I was invited to launch a Book Club at Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We typically meet for several weeks in the spring and fall, and we have access to the galleries, where we look for connections (often fortuitous and reliably provocative) between the Museum's astonishing collection and the fiction and nonfiction we read. I'd be happy to respond to your group's questions by email or to schedule a conference call for 15 to 30 minutes when your group is discussing one of my books.
